I have Resident evil in a 700 mb file. When i watched it, there would be parts where the picture would freeze, but the audio would continue. When I would rewind the file about 5 seconds back, it would sometimes play through the part that had frozen, and sometimes took a second rewind to play through. This happened about 5 times during the lenght of the movie. Near the last 2 minutes of the movie however, the same thing occurs but two green squares appear on this frame where it freezes. I tried over and over to use the rewind technique to bypass it, but it would not do so. My problem is that I am waiting to author it as a VCD, but am nervous that the final product will yield a movie that freezes in the standalone dvd player and will not continue to play. Does anybody know how I can stop this from occuring or attempt to repair the file for this problem? I've had problems in the past with files that freeze in the dvd and refuse to continue.
