  1. Hi,

I try to burn a backup (original is a dvd-5) with ImgBurn but I receive the "Potential 'WaitImmediateIO' Deferred Error" message when trying to finalize the disc.

I got this message on this movie. I burn two other disk and it was successful. I use the same disc for all the burns.

    1. I try with dvd decrypter in "Iso read" and write with ImgBurn.
    2. I rip with decrypter and then burn the folder with Img Burn.

    Same error.

Is it possible this error is caused by the warning "Possible structure protection found. Dummy sectors will be inserted when needed" in dvd decrypter ?? During the rip, dvd decrypter doesn't mention it wrote dummy sectors.

Do I need to use FixVTS or this dvd ???

here is the burning og from imgburn:

The burned disc is perfectly playable on my computer but my standalone dvd player doesn't recognize it => "unreadable disc".

Is there a problem with the source files ??????

  2. dvd decrypter is old and out of date, and isn't updated anymore. it can't handle newer protection on dvds. you will need to rip using anydvd or dvdfabdecrypter.

Similar problem noted at the ImgBurn forums, with the same drive. See the first paragraph in mmalves' reply here:
