I know that there are programs out there that convert movies to DVDs but many of them don't allow you to create a menu. I need a good one that will let me create menus for multiple movies. It would be helpful if you could make custom menus of your own choice.

If a relatively simple menu will suffice, you should use AVStoDVD. You must run the Menu Editor in AVStoDVD in order to put a menu into your project. For slightly more elaborate menus, try DVDStyler.
When making DVD-video, you need to be careful how much running time you are putting into one DVD. A single layer disc will hold two hours of video very comfortably, and up to two and a half without degrading the visual quality too much. Be aware these are just general guidelines, and each project will differ a bit on how much you can stretch things.
So just because you can fit four or five movies in AVI, MP4 or MKV files on a single layer disc, don't assume they will convert to DVD-video in the same space. They generally won't come close.Last edited by Kerry56; 29th Jun 2015 at 22:48. Reason: clarity
