  1. Hi guys?

Essentially the subject... Does anyone know of a program that will do that.

I'm trying to set up a nas that will auto download new tv shows, rename those files, organise them into folders and preferably convert mkv files to ts for playback on my ps3. I can leave it to transcode on the fly using PS3 Media Server but if there is a way to do it before hand it will make it easier to rewind if necessary.

I've got all the other processes ready - uTorrent downloads from RSS and organises into folders, then either TVRenamer or FileBot will rename the files; PS3 Media Server sends to PS3 (and other DLNA players) and Plex sends to phone and for remote access of files.

    cheers

It's not there yet, but I believe that pre-transcoding is on the shortlist of updates for Mezzmo. It would effectively replace PS3 Media Server.

Not that i am aware of, though it can be done via a batch file. As long as the tools in question are capable of being run through command line, or you can take a look at automating the process using Autoit.

I'm actually planning something similar with my HTPC setup.
