  1. Hello, I'm working in Handbreak, which I use often to compress video, but I can't for the life of me figure out why my home movies come out incorrectly. The video files are from a handheld digital camera I bought at Best Buy about six years ago. And help would be GREATLY appreciated.

  2. Get mediainfo, use it on your source video, find the text and copy paste it here.
    Do the same for the handbrake version.
    Probably some aspect ratio setting

    I did tweak some settings based on your suggestion and am trying to re-compress now. I'll update on here how it turns out.

  4. I got it to work. I changed the anamorphic setting from loose to none and specifically defined by video dimensions. Thanks for helping me.
