Hello, I'm working in Handbreak, which I use often to compress video, but I can't for the life of me figure out why my home movies come out incorrectly. The video files are from a handheld digital camera I bought at Best Buy about six years ago. And help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I did tweak some settings based on your suggestion and am trying to re-compress now. I'll update on here how it turns out. -
I got it to work. I changed the anamorphic setting from loose to none and specifically defined by video dimensions.
