  1. When I join segments to make one whole video (about 44 minutes long), I output the merged segments in MPEG-1 VideoCD mode. But when I did it, while it was compiling the segments (about 6 segments), the seconds for the video and audio portions didn't amount to the same. The video was roughly 2, 647.24 seconds while the audio was 2,647.27 seconds. I know this is a small number for being out of sync between the audio and video, but I want everything absolutely in sync. Was the seconds readout in error or is my audio and video out of sync for real? I didn't notice anything on the finished product but that could be because the difference between seconds is so small. But I was wondering what would cause the out of sync problem?

Plus, sometimes when I merge segments there is a "beep" where some of the segments are merged, what's that about?

    Thanks.
PS -- I used the latest version of TMPGEnc in both instances.

  2. It's a BUG

I've reported this to Pegasys-inc. Because it's in the 2.x and 2.x Plus versions.

    Get TMPEG 12b from http://www.afterdawn.com
Also get the English patch from there.

Now you can merge and cut and your audio will be in sync.
