I bought this grabber and so far I've been recording smoothly, until I found a game that forced me to play at 60Hz ... and in that moment, I realized I did not catch well, the program captures me the distorted image with flicker, etc ...
My capture is this:
and the program with which he recorded in the computer is TotalMedia 3.5
I changed the signals that gives me the burning program (I've tried them all) and NTSC catches me but looks in black and white. The SECAM and PAL look bad by far flicker and others. I thought it would be good PAL_60 (thinking that this would refer to 60 Hz) but nothing ...
Which is better seen in NTSC, but that, in black and white. Can you do something to come out in color? It is assumed that my capture supports both NTSC and PAL, but I do not know if NTSC is equivalent to 60Hz, and I want to record is PAL 60Hz (it's a Gamecube game, the Zelda Master Quest specifically).
Any ideas please?
Sorry for my english ... I hope I explained correctly

The only software I have found that can switch between PAL60 and NTSC433 in a reliable way is WinTV7.....and you will require an added file (available free from the WinTV website). This option works with my Hauppauge USB|Live2 device. What you are trying to do is not usually included in the "specification" of any capture device/software unfortunately.

Thank you. Until the weekend you can not try it, but when you look at it, posting me if it worked or not.

Capturing NTSC in a PAL country (Germany?) is not easy. It is also possible that your capture device cannot capture PAL60 or NTSC 433.

In the specifications of my capture puts nothing on you record PAL 60 (or so I think). But with WinTV me does not work, I'll have to think about buying another video capture ...
Im live in Spain. -
OK....Good Luck. What you are trying to do is NOT easy.....keep that in mind.

Thanks for the help.
This weekend WinTV7 try to capture and tell me what happens -
Remember....it may be the COMBINATION of WinTV7 and the Hauppauge USB | Live2. Your device may not be able to do it.

A more "generic" capture program that is free, such as AmaRecTV, might be a better choice to test your NPG TV stick.
I an not sure WinTv 7 recognizes capture devices that are not made by Hauppauge. WinTv 7 is not available as a free trial download either. You can only download it for free as an upgrade to an earlier version of WinTV, and you need the CD for the ealier version to do that. The only other legal ways to obtain WinTv 7 are to buy a capture device of some kind from Hauppauge that comes bundled with it, or buy WinTV 7 itself from Hauppauge's web store. -
It's also not as easy as choosing PAL60 either in WinTV. You need to go through the wizard and install a new PAL60 tuner. Good thing it's easy to delete and install tuners in WinTV.....once you know that you need to do that. No need to run a channel scan either, S-Video and Composite are the channels.

Only a small number of options are visible in the drop-down list when it is opened in AmaRecTV. It is necessary to use the up/down controls or the mouse wheel to see everything in the list. The PAL60 option was visible for my device when I scrolled far enough down the list.
WinTV 7 doesn't work for non-Hauppauge capture devices, so it will do the OP no good to buy it.
