did anyone manage to capture the 1960s "The Wild, Wild West" episodes and encode them to VCD? if so, i'd be interested in trading VCDs from my collection for them.

actually, if he doesn't make a profit, and If they were never released on home video, they are really in a grey area.
You are allowed to record tv for your own privite viewing as long as you don't sell it.
But what consitutes selling?
Is giving something away or trading an obeject of equal value "selling"

believe me, if they were available on home video, i wouldn't be making this post.
i capture/encode Dexters Lab episodes and Spongebob Squarepants episodes to XVCD. since they aren't available for purchase on home video, i trade with others, disc for disc, who also capture/encode other TV series to VCD. as greg stated, because there is no selling but only a disc-for-disc trade, i really don't see how this could fall under 'warez'.
