I have an ATI AIW Radeon PCI card and also a GFORCE AGP card and I'm attempting to setup a multi-monitor system.
I can get both monitors working, however all TV/Capture features of the ATI card don't work with both monitors enabled. I get a "TV player failed to initialize the video. Ensure the correct video drivers have been installed" message when I try to launch the TV app.
Has anyone attempted this or have any suggestions?
Thanks,
zzzzzane

I have an ATI All-in-wonder PRO PCI / 4mb card and a Nvidia 16mb AGP setup. Originally, I wanted to have a multi monitor setup and use the TV/Cap features of the ATI, unfortunately, what you have to do is set your ATI card as the default video (primary) for the system. To do this, go into your BIOS setup and there should be an option on which card to use as default.
What I suggest you do, is create 2 seperate hardware profiles (if you're using windows), one for when you aren't doing any capture/TV stuff, and one when you are.
Also, when you are doing stuff with the ATI TV/capture I suggest that you don't use multi monitor support, because it may cause problems and crashes, of course I have an older card, but as far as I can see this is the best solution.
hope it helps..
