I've successfully made a VCD using Easy CD Creator Deluxe 5.0 Platinum with a Mpeg1 file encoded with TMPGEnc onto a CD-R disk. It plays in my Philips DVD953 on my television but it very choppy like it's skipping every other frame (both audio and video). It does play correctly through Windows Media on my computer. I tried setting the burn speed down to 4x but the same problem occured.
I also can't seem to get the menus to work on the VCDs but I could live without this feature.
Any help is appreciated.
P.S. This web site is fantastic!

It would appear that some others have similar headaches with the dvd953As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
