  1. Ok, downloaded an avi file, and noticed that it has no sound in it. When I open it up in windows media player it says, Opening Media, and then It says error downloading codec. Now the movie plays fine, but there is no audio. Is there anything I can do here? Thanks,

Audiostream has an invalid samplerate : 48000 Hz

I had a similar problem, but I got the sound, but no video with Real One Player and Windows Media Player. I opened the .avi in the divx player and it played fine. You may want to try that. Worked for me.

    www.divx.com :D
