  1. i have 21 tracks in mp3 format, which i had compiled from other albums i had already ripped. The thing is, when i convert them all to wav's the filesize is like 900mbs, but this collection is a well known album available i the shops.

What i would like to know is how do i make the .wav files smaller so i can burn them to a 80min cd-r?

I have tried converting them to mp3PRO and then burning with cd-mate, which had the overall disc size as only 440mb, but when it finished burning the resulting cd was recognised as having 21 tracks in a standard cd player, and it seemed to be playing the tracks but no sound was coming out.

Anyone know what i can do here???

    Thanks in advance

  3. Don't even convert it in the first place m8....

Leave it in mp3 format and just use Nero Burning Rom.

It's a simple drag and drop program that does all the work itself.

There is no need to convert them to wav format

You could remove the gap between each track, and remove fade in and fade out, but it will only give you a small amount of room.

Like its has already been said, drop the MP3 files into your burning software, no need to convert to wave.

Also make sure the disk is finalized, or it might not play on a regular player only on a PC.
