Anybody have any info on burning a VCD with Roxio direct CD?

I tried burning my converted .mpg file using the software once, but when i tried it on my dvd player, i got a "error: check disc". My dvd supports VCD, and it plays my previously burned VCD authored with CDRWIN which no longer works correctly?? CAN ANYBODY HELP????

You can't use Direct CD to burn a VCD. Direct CD is a data file burning program, and even if it did burn it as a VCD, it still has its own way of formatting a blank CD, which no DVD player could read. You have to use Easy CD Creator, the deluxe version, which has a VCD burning option.

Do yourself a favor, get NERO 5.5, it's WAY better that anything Roxio makes for doing Videos, Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum S***s at doing Video! I have burned LOTS of Videos with Nero, I picked up a Brand new OEM Version on Ebay for like $16, you can't beat it for Burning Software!
