    After downloading a divx file and then converting it to an SVCD in TMPGEnc, i will go to file mpeg tools , merge and cut. i add my file, double click it, but tmpgenc will not allow me to drag the bar accross for spliting.

    can anyone help?????

    It's buggy sometimes--try it with BBMpeg. There's a guide in the Edit section.

    Use source range it works well. I find the tmpgenc "merge/cut" always causes problems especially synch problems. I have yet to have a problem with source range
