Hello,
Here's my story: I purchased a PowerMac 933Mhz with Superdrive because I want to make my own DVDs. When I capture DV material for instance in iMovie it looks great, but as soon as I export it to DVD format (720x576, DV PAL - 25fps, audio not compressed) and import it in iDVD (or watch it in Quicktime Player) it looks awful: diagonal lines are frayed and the picture doesn't look too sharp. I burnt it on DVD but on DVD it lookes the same way... this is worse than VHS!
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong??
Thanks a lot
Marco

For starters, are you sure you want to use PAL?
Is your DVD player a PAL DVD player? You may want to give it a shot with NTSC. -
Marco,
How does it look when you play it in a stand alone dvdplayer on your tv?
