YOU WILL HAVE TO USE ANOTHER BURNER NOT NERO TO BURN A MOVIE
FILE. NERO ONLY BURNS THE DVD FILE AS A DATA (NOT MOVIE) FILE.
YOUR COMPUTER PLAYS IT AS A DVD.MPG FILE NOT A MOVIE FILE. USE
ULEAD GODVD , VIDEO STUDIO 5, OR SOME OTHER BURNING SOFTWARE.

Just download the VOB Filters and install them. Then you'll be able to open regular VOB's and the .VRO that the DMR-E20 creates with MediaPlayer, etc.
Get it here:
http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/encoding_vobutils.html
and download VOB Filters 1.04.
I am currently starting to make VCD's from my DVD-RAM recordings on the E20.

Speedy,
Were you able to solve your problem. I have the same one. I've tried DVDit!, Ulead DVD Workshop, Nero and many other programs with no result (mismatch...)
Can anybody help with this? -
:D
Proble is the VRO file is 702*576 instead of 720*576 and this with the AC3 sound fools a load of sw..
DVDit will accept MP2 sound and the 702 size files so demux the audio and usae Besweet to convert to MP2 audio and then put them both into DVDit...
Sound sync may be a problem ..
