I'm looking for a basic multi-track recorder for a project. Does anyone know of something freeware or shareware out there that will allow recording and processing of 8-10 audio tracks? It's not worth it for me to go out and buy a software package for just a one-time project.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

You can also try an older (still free) version of Reaper
