Sorting external drive- folder view??

I use Firefox on my laptop and have a 1TB external drive, which holds my films and other files etc. I have created the folders containing subfolders/files on it by name, and want to view all of the drive in 'Medium icon' form.

I have tried sorting the main drive folder by going into Tools > Folder Options > View > Apply to all Folders, but nothing happens and each folder within are still showing as 'details' view??

I shouldn't have to manually change each laborious one every time??

You need click in Folder Options on Reset Folders and again Apply to all Folders

Thanks, that did much of it, but when i click deep into the subfolders, a few times, it still shows the 'detail' setting?

Try repeat same process also in deep sub folder
