  1. Hi,

    I have rip my Blu-Ray with DVDFAB.
    Each episode (23min) ends up with around 1.26 GB.

    Then I've tried with handbrake using these settings but it still gets around 1.2 GB;
    MKV Container
    High Profile
    Constant Quality 20 RF
    Variable Framerate

    How do I make it smaller without losing so much quality ??
    When downloading series, it usually is around 550 MB/episode.

    Increase the constant quality value. Try around 25-35. Or use 2-pass encoding and set the bitrate manually to get exact size. Use a bitrate calculator to calc the size.

  3. Ok, I tried with 21 RF.
    Now the file is 1 GB instead of 1.26 GB.
    Took 1h 15min for just one episode, with my laptop i5 2,5 GHz and 640m.

    I will just leave it as it is, its not worth the time, when having 236 episodes, and hdd are cheap.

    Thanks
