I have a new Lenovo 2T Hd, i7 Cpu 12 Ram, all of a sudden Win Explorer 10 is not working properly, opens some programs and not others, went to control panel to uninstall it and got the message there are no new updates? Chrome and Firefox work perfectly. Help!

Windows Explorer 10? Don't you mean Internet Explorer 10?

[Edit] Which OS are you using, Windows 7 or Windows 8?

There is no way to uninstall Windows Explorer from Windows 8 to force an update. It is only possible to disable it, which won't fix you problem

To repair Internet Explorer without re-installing try: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

To re-install Internet Explorer, Microsoft says to download Internet Explorer 10 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/ie-10-worldwide-languages and run the installer.

[Edit] I just tried downloading and re-installing IE 10 in Windows 8. It didn't work. The installer told me I already had a newer version of IE 10 installed. So much for that. LOL

I'm not clear when you say, 'opens some programs and not others'. Do you mean web sites... or software programs, such as media viewers from within IE 10?

BTW, IE 10 does seem to have some problems with some web sites. I have ran into a few that say they are incompatible with it, mostly ones that you need to enter data into.
I just use a different browser then. I'm not sure why IE 10 is incompatible, but likely a security 'fix'.

Am having a problem with my new computer a Lenovo 2T HD, 12Ram I 7 Cpu. It had originally 1 drive installed , I replaced it with an Optiarc 7200, and added another Optiarc also a 7200, I also added a exterior drive a Lite-On 324A , The computer reads all drives , but Nero Disk Speed only sees the Optiarc 7200, not the other one or the Lite-On, it seems to only see one drive at a time, yet I can put a blank disk in one of the Optiarc drives and a blank disk in thre Lite On and can use Dvd Fab and other programs, yet it will not recognize the two interior drives. Help
