I have an HD camera, and i went to play some video of some storm footage i had recorded here in Vegas last night. The video is in 720p. The video plays back in Virtualdub fine, but the audio playback is bad. It's like someone is turning up and down a volume knob on a stereo or tv. It constantly does this. Does anyone know what the problem could be, and a fix? I'd sure appreciate it!

  2. VirtualDub isn't a media player so it's not optimized for realtime playback. That said, it's likely the reader/splitter or audio decoder that's causing the audio problem. You'll have to provide more details on the file type, codecs, which source filter you're using, etc.

hi. Here's a screen shot of what Mediainfo says about the file, or should i use g-spot for better details? Is there some sort of audio codec that i could use with virtualdub that would read the audio better? Thank you!
