Since ffmpeg 2.0 (July release), ffmpeg has some (any one got details? *) OpenCL support.
Does anyone know a source for Windows OpenCL enabled builds ? (compiled with '--enabled-opencl')
Does anyone know what speed gains(/losses?) can be expected for which operations?

* from what I remember at least deshake and unsharpen have some OpenCL optimized versions

I wonder if it's just the OpenCL patch for libx264 ? or does it affect other operations as well ? Is there a detailed changelog somewhere?

EDIT: here is a bit of info
 http://www.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-utils.html#OpenCL-Options

As far as I know the OpenCL support in ffmpeg has nothing to do with the libx264 OpenCL support.

the OpenCL-Options only allow to select a specific device, platform, opencl level

 Looking at:
 http://www.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-filters.html
at least unsharp and deshake have OpenCL flags
-
	OK.

Apparently it can affect some filters performance , but sometimes worse performance

 http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1284

Searching around it looks like only a few filters are affected so far

Sure, opencl support in NVIDIA GPUs often isn't as good as for ATI GPUs and then you probably need a fast GPU to really get some benefits.Apparently it can affect some filters performance , but sometimes worse performance

Sadly it does not seem like anyone is offering opencl enabled builds for windows.
