So, after hours of work, saving frequently because Vegas can't stay open too long without crashing, my project file won't open anymore.

I'm using Vegas Move Studio Platinum 9.0

Every time I try to open the project, a window pops up stating an error has occurred during the current operation.

I spent hours of time on this project. I saved often so that I wouldn't lose hours of work.

How do I fix this project file?

  2. Google mcmp4plug.dll , you get a lot same errors, mostly older versions, that module mcmp4plug.dll can have problems and needs to be updated. Get latest version of Vegas Platinum or try to exchange mcmp4plug.dll for latest one , http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/945445

uninstall/re-install movie studio? it's about all you can do. make sure to install the final 9 version, as it's an older out of date program. your project files will still be on your hard drive.

Vegas is a Windows Native Application. That means it relies on Windows components. You might want to check that too.

That Main Concept Encoder works fine for me, and I use Pro12 too.

Thanks, I found a newer version of that .dll file on my computer from another program, and replacing it with that fixed the issue.
