    Hello
    I have an AVI file, and I want to edit it with VEGAS, but says I cannot open it, because VEGAS need a codec.
    The file is an AVI, and the codec is xvid. At least, that was the information MEDIAINFO gave me...

    Format : AVI
    Format/Info : Audio Video Interleave
    Format profile : OpenDML

    Video
    ID : 0
    Format : xvid
    Codec ID : xvid

    Audio
    ID : 1
    Format : MPEG Audio
    Format version : Version 1
    Format profile : Layer 3

    Codec ID/Hint : MP3

    How may I do VEGAS open it?

    Would be this the codec I need?
