Probably answered a million times but I cannot find the answer.
I have a video file, mkv and a srt file with the same name. The only files in a directory.
What can I do to see the subtitles. I have tried everything.
Thanks

Use one of the output devices that support subtitles: View -> Options -> Playback (left pane) -> Output (right pane). If you don't see subtitles be sure the feature is enabled: Play -> Subtitles -> Enable.
