Login navigation messed up ...

I've been logging in to the site directly when I get to the vh page for a long time. Last week or so, the login and password entry boxes aren't there.

So I go to the "search all active topics" and log in there.

Then I'm sent to a search results page that says item not found.

Then I go to the home page and go on from there.

What gives?

??? Works for me. Corrupt browser? Malware? IP/Proxy issues (doubt it)?
Maybe the php database is undergoing some change and you just hit it at the wrong moment.

when you are on the homepage and the login box isn't there, do you get the welcome back list in the upper right corner like you are already logged in?

The search pages generate unique IDs each time, I believe. I get similar results if I'm on the main portal page, click on the "more latest active topics here" link, and then log in.

I think Baldrick changed something, and your adblocking software in the browser may be blocking certain elements (like the login elements on certain pages). Try temporarily disabling it, reload the pages, and see if everything returns.

Are you using adblock plus or similar? It removes the login box on the front page.

I noticed that too with the use of adblocker plus.

Best option is to turn off adblocker plus for this site:
1 Go to this site
2 Click on the red adblocker plus logo in the address bar.
3 Remove the check mark at enabled for this site
