I am going to write code using the MPC web interface to control 100% of all my TV shows. My problem is, if I enable it on MPC X version it will also enable the web interface on X+1 version... It even does this for MPC vs MPC HC. So even if I have 10 versions of MPC they will all use the same settings....
I do not want to dump MPC as my default video player. Can I somehow fix this or am I SOL?

	Using the portable version?

Actually copying the portable to a new folder is probably a good idea, so that multiple instances
 don't share the same .ini

well using MPC solved my settings issue...

But I cant seem to access the mpc playlist from the web interface (apparently its a limitation of MPC). I am also having problems with the seek bar using MPC with the web interface (but if I cant access the playlist, the seekbar problems are irrelevant). I may try the VLC web interface (just learned today it exists). If that fails I may look into mpc source code (but im not a c++ programmer)
