I need a real good one for reasonable cost if possible.

The first thing to think about with tripods is: "how much weight does this need to hold, all decked out?"
Next is: "how quickly will I need to change my setup?" (incl. leveling)
Then: "how sturdy & immobile does it need to be?"
along with: "how smoothly can I do adjustments?" (Pan, Tilt, Pedestal...)
Then fill in your height requirements and match those to your budget.

Agree with aedipuss and Cornucopia. The last tripod I got from B & H was a Manfrotto brand and it is fantastic!

ingeborgdot - I can vouch for the quality of the Ravelli. I have the next step up from this one, the $140 Ravelli AVTP Professional with the fluid drag head on a 75mm bowl and it is an absolutely rock solid tripod with smooth panning action. It is all metal and solid, but not too heavy. You can get the same unit for $118 with the Fancierstudio label on it.
Here is a picture of my GH3 mounted on the Ravelli:
I can recommend Ravelli tripods without reservation.
Good luck with your decision!
