I've tried a couple of things from old threads such as: HKEY Current Users-deleting string values in MRU list (there was an 'a'); ticking off Deny for every user except Administrator; and, deleting MRU list folder (wouldn't let me do it). The recent videos are still there. Any suggestions? Windows 7 64 bit, most recent VDub.

That cleared the list for me. Are you trying to prevent VirtualDub from creating new files in the MRU list?

Both clear and prevent. Maybe rebooting will put my changes into effect, which I can't test at the moment.
