Hi all
I'm fairly new to this kind of video work and I have a bit of a dilema. My WD TV Live doesn't like the Hauppauge Colossus *.TS output file. Video is great but no audio.
I've used handbrake to convert the *.TS to *.mkv and it works. Is there a quicker way to get this combo to work? HDMI source is a Bell TV 9242 HD PVR.
9242 -> Colossus -> WD TV Live Plus
TIA

Think I got it. Had to check "AC3 Preferred" in the WinTV7 configuration and I enabled 3rd party decoders. 3rd party decoders shouldn't have made a difference though.

Truth is I re-installed WinXP trying to fix the onboard audio problem so that may have had something to do with it as well.

I'll uncheck the "AC3 Preferred" and see if the problem comes back.
