  1. friends,
    i tried a lot on net but didnt found any good solution for it, there are lots of softwares but none of them are for me, what i want to do is i have a sony hdr-xr500e hd handycam and it records the video in MTS format 5.1 channel, i want to make those videos in mkv format in 5.1 channel, many software did so but they only do 2 channel encoding. Please help me out in it

    Moving you to our video conversion section as avchd to mkv is not blu-ray ripping and conversion.


    Have you tried ripbot264? Open the mts and see if you can choose copy under audio. Try also handbrake, hdconverttox.

    thanks for your kind reply..
    i am using ripbot now
    now from last so many days and after so many tries i failed.
    Problem is...after ripping to MKV or MP4 when i play it on pc its working awsome in 5.1 channel..but whenever i play MP4 on PS3 or my BD Player it playes with jerks like not the smooth play.. and same with MKV format also...then i have tried the downloaded MKV movies and played them and they works awsome on PS3 and BD Player...dont know what i am missing...
    Please help me out bro

  4. i would like to tell one more thing.
    i have edited the video in Sony Vegas and created the video in M2V format and created audio file in ac3 file...i am giving both files in ripbot...i cant render both in one video file because VEGAS dont support 5.1 channel audio in video and creates single file.
