Hello!
I finally just now got around to buying a blu-ray burner so I'm still a bit new at all this blu-ray stuff.
I have a Blu-Ray rip that is 24.4GB and so it is a little big for a single layer BD-R or BD25 disc.
However this Blu-Ray disc has a bunch of extras in SD resolution. I don't need them. However it does have 1 extra that, like the movie itself, is 1080p.
Is there a way to "blank out" the SD stuff yet keep the Blu-Ray structure in-tact so I can still burn it as a Blu-Ray disc?
I guess if this was a DVD that I would use VobBlanker and then, just to be safe, MenuEdit to make it so one cannot select the extras (from the menu) that I blanked out.
I have no idea how to do this with a Blu-Ray disc though
Again I want to keep the main movie and some but not all of the extras. I also am pretty confident that if I cut out the extras that I don't want that the over all size will fit a single layer BD-R or BD25 disc.
Thanks in advance for any help

I did think to look at BD Rebuilder but ... and I thought this strange ... but when I did a "right click" on the video stream(s) that I didn't want a menu popped up with two options. One is "Preview this item" and the other is "Blank this item" however the "Blank this item" option is grayed out, I can't select it.
Anyone have any ideas on that?
In the meantime I'll have to check out this Clown_BD BD Copier so thank you for that recommendation.

*** EDIT ***
I just tried Clown BD_BD Copier and when I load the BDMV folder it doesn't really do anything. All the options are grayed out. Like I didn't actually load the BDMV folder. I tried two different Blu-Ray rips.
Maybe this is because I'm using Windows 8? I still have a Windows 7 install on the same computer (different HDD) so I'll have to try it over there but I decided to try an install of Windows 8 and I've been sticking with it, but I've noticed some programs just won't work (for instance XviD4PSP won't work at all, even the so-called portable version).Last edited by FulciLives; 25th Dec 2012 at 12:27.

As for Clown BD, you check BD (top/left), it'll find drive and loads BDMV automaticaly, you need to have some BD ripper running in the background, AnyDVDHD or DVDFAB passkey or how they call it. You have to check boxes more to the bottom so it is not greyed out (using tSmuxer or imgburn). These are not mandatory functions though. You can just demux your title and mux streams together with mkvmerge (better imho).

Oh when I was attempting to use Clown BD_BD Copier I was trying to use it with HDD files (a BD that I had already ripped). I guess it doesn't work that way, huh? I wonder if I make an ISO and mount it if that will work then?

you can check where main movie is (the biggest file in stream folder), then load mpls playlist accordingly (same name), maybe you get lucky and your movie has one playlist as a movie, you can check the length of the movie in particular playlist in BDedit

You'll need to edit the BDREBUILDER.INI file using a text editor or from within BR Rebuilder via File > View/Edit Config file. Under [Options] add the line "ENABLE_TEST=1" minus the quotes. Then click on the Save button.
This will allow you to access the Edit Mode and blanking. After saving the updated config file you'll have an extra option under the Mode setting, as well, for Movie & Menus (Auto-blank Extras). That isn't what you want, however. Make sure the Stream tab is showing and double-click on the title at the top of the listed streams. Once you do that the you should see Edit Mode appear to right on the same line as the stream title. Now you can right-click the streams and the Blank this Item will no longer be greyed out. Select what to keep and what to blank and you should be good to go.
Edit: Blanking won't work if you have Movie-Only mode enabled.Last edited by HemLok; 25th Dec 2012 at 17:37.

HemLok I could kiss you!
I just read your post and so I haven't tried what you said but it makes sense and I can't wait to try it!
Thanks a ton!

No problem. Glad to help.
Just be aware that this is a power-user feature hence it being a hidden feature that requires you to edit the config file and I'm not completely sure how well it works. jdobbs gives the community some awsome software so I expect that it should work nicely however I haven't, personally, used this feature.
