background:
i haven't taken much time to do anything with video, except burn regular files to disk for watching on a dvd player.. i've recently had trouble with some avi files that windows movie maker would mess up & they'd turn out w/o sound - i use another free software (dvd author plus) that's fixed that for now.. except it takes forever & i don't know if i'm burning these in a strange way or what.... most times i'm just taking an avi or mp4 movie & putting it on a disk, but is that really "authoring" when i'm not trying to change/edit anything? it's such a slowwwww process!

please understand that i am clueless when it comes to video image or whatever. not to mention, i have very little time left online, so don't have time to learn it either (& i really really hate reading a ton of stuff as i have low concentration levels).

ok, - so about this crummy HD format i've just been reminded of. i was taking some nature video over a year ago, which i saved to my computer & played via windows media player (or whatever came up) ok... but now i wanted to combine some of these small (few minute) videos onto a regular dvd - for someone else to play on a dvd player - & neither of my regular burning software programs recognizes these file types (the AVCHD high def ones).

i'm not wanting to edit these at this point, but i just want to put a few together, one after another, on a disk like i mentioned. BUT i can't stand trying to weed my way thru a lot of video jargon which i don't understand & don't really wanta learn about at this point.

isn't there any even slightly easy way to do this? remember, i need easy!

(i already downloaded some strange mguie or something program, which i then tried to get rid of shortly afterward - hopefully i got rid of all of it)

1.5 days left until i have little internet access..
