Does the TM 900 come with a hard copy users manual? I called Panasonic and got someone whose english was lacking and then B&H Photo. Panasonic said "yes," there is an instruction manual. B&H could not open the box and their info was there is no hard copy users's manual-just a pdf on the CD. I need a hard copy-not the pdf which I already have. Can an owner please clear this up for me?

  2. Not having a printed manual is always a bummer. In your case if you can't obtain a printed manual you will have to print the PDF manual.

Thanks for the input. However, Crutchfield said they would print the manual for me, if I bought the camcorder from them. Their price was only $10.00 over B&H but, the printed manual is worth more than $10.00 to me.

  5. i have HD video camera HDC-TM900p/pc and i cant by the USB connection to export my motion video to pc i gett this massage: "Videos in incompatible TV systems were removed from the import target"
    what can i do?
, I have recently purchased a new Panasonic HDC-TM900 in USA Cam recorder but my system is European PAL TVs.

I have taken several sample movies and they play back fine on my home TV.
So now I need to edit them with the provided software HD Writer AE.03 software.
Ok so I followed the camera and software instructions, first connect my camera to the mains power then switch on the camera and then connect to the USB port.
Great, I got a choice of PC or Recorder on the camera screen.
OK course I chose the PC option.
The smart wizard opened and gave me a choice of PC or Disc.
Again, I chose the PC option.
Then a screen opened giving me a choice of Simple Copy or Selected Copy (I tried both but it makes no difference).
I then got a message that the Media is not in the source drive.
    Saying “cause”
    Media may have been rejected
    “Remedial action”
Check Media is copied and insert into the F:/ drive correctly
    Press ok
HD Write screen showed, so I clicked on the built in memory icon and guess what, all my movie footage showed, wow, I selected and pressed execute.
    I got a message
Data copying to PC, start OK, select yes.
I then got “Message Video’s incompatible with TV system were removed from import target”.
    Press OK.
Then, I got a message “Exit copy to PC wizard”.
I pressed Ok and poof everything was gone (but at least the files are still in my camera memory)
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue? As I stated above, I am extremely frustrated and was not expecting to have so many problems with such a highly rated camera.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
