I "squeezed" a movie >4.7GB to fit on one 4.7GB DVD. To do this, I stripped out all the languages and subtitles except English and performed a bit rate conversion on the remainder. On the "unsqueezed" files, Closed Captioning is present (and will run concurrent with any other subtitle text) so I thought that I would forego the English substream. However, after bit-rate reduction, I see that I have lost CC.
Has anyone figured out a way to preserve CC on a BR reduction movie?
