    i have heard multiple answers to that question. if you don't need a dvd drive, are the quality of the movies any different if you don't choose to use one?

    u must have a DVD drive to rip DVD's.


    U can capture a dvd through a capture card, but u have to deal with marcovision n the quality is less and the avi files large.

    aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh................i wanna know who has said you don't need a DVD-ROM drive to rip movies....

    CD---->CD-ROM
    DVD--->DVD-ROM

    pattern anyone?
