Hi I was wondering if theres another way to save the audio of a divx file in wave....cuz when I save the audio in wave(with Virtualdub) in some divx movies when I encode them(with tmpgenc) and use the wav file that I got from virtual dub the movie comes with many problems...the audio stops sometimes(silences) and the movie is out of sync.....not in all movies but in alot of the divx movies I download...

Some of your DivX downloaded movies have bad frames, these always cause problems. Fix those bad frames before using TMPGEnc.
Sometimes you simply load the movie in, select video and audio streaming and save as, save another copy then use the new copy in TMPGEnc.
I have also found "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" to be very good for finding those bad frames, and better than the scan for JUNK frames as used in Vdub 1.49.
Only time I separate the audio is when its very bad and needs fixing with www.goldwave.com
