    Hey all, I can't get TMPEGEnc to convert my divx 5.0 avi files to VCD mpeg. How can I fix this? I have the newest version of TMPEGenc(2.53)

    DO you have the codec for DivX v 5.0 installed ? (ie do you hear audio and no video ?)

    Have you upped your priority of the DirectShow Media Filter ?
    Open TMPG - go to OPTIONS - ENVIRO SETTING - VFAPI Tab - rt click Dir Show Filter- Increase Prioirity

    Lastly, you could frameserve it through Vdub into TMPG. See CONVERT to the left
