When I browse a particular Blu-Ray disk I find only one m2ts file (800MB) which I can copy to my HD to back up. It plays and I can edit it.
But when I use Roxio to duplicate the disk it copies 22GB, which takes a long time!
Can anyone explain this to me?
thanks in advance

Roxio is POS compliant. Friends don't let friends use Roxio. (Look up POS at http://www.urbandictionary.com if you don't know what it means)
Roxio is encoding your movie to BluRay specs. You probably don't want this to happen.
Use the free ImgBurn program for all your burning needs. Ditch Roxio. -
Thanks for replies-
this is not a commercial disc- it's an artist's video, so there is just one m2ts file. I'm not burning from an authoring programme, I'm just copying the disc, i.e 'please insert the disc you wish to copy... etc'
sadly at work I cannot choose the app to use for copying, it's what our IT dept have deployed.

Just copy the m2ts file with windows explorer. You don't need roxio to do that.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
