Ok I do like the Transformers movies though I just wish he didn't make 'em as "dirty" as he did. Nothing wrong with the action though. I just wish they were more "pg" than pg13. But the action does make up for it. And the fact they have the original Optimus Prime voice actor makes up for any faults in the movies in my mind - it just feels right when he's in it.
--------------
However - this is the last straw. DON'T MESS WITH THE TURTLES!!!
Dude this was - next to Star Wars and Transformers - a BIG BIG part of my time growing up. Middle school and early highschool if you must know.
He can't make them live action alien turtles! He can't!
I mean aren't the 3 live action 90's movies enough? I even like but don't love the cgi tmnt reboot from a few years ago. Even though the eyes are too far apart and Splinter just doesn't have the right look...
But you can't fundamentally change the story background this drastically.
I eventually grew to like Daniel Craig as James Bond so I guess anything is possible. But at this early state I say NO TO MICHAEL BAY AND TANT (Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles - YUCK!)
LOCK HIM UP AND THROW AWAY THE KEY!!!!!
EDIT -
Can we get Christopher Nolan to do it instead? I like the Batman Begins and the Dark Knight and will see Rises when it comes out.
Why can't he do a Turtle movie?
Or how about Bryan Singer ala Xmen?
or Steven Summers - Did I get that Right? The guy that directed the first two Brendan Fraser Mummy movies???
They would not do this to the Turtle franchise. They wouldn't.
Edit 2 - what next is he gonna somehow con George Lucas to do a Star Wars movie? I mean what is it gonna be Wayne's World in Space?

Tim Burton ?
LOL!!!
I like the Batman Begins and the Dark Knight and will see Rises when it comes out.
You seemed to like the Tim Burton cartoony version's of Batman.....
I'm just busting your chops......
I really like the old original turtles movies, this is the first i have heard or seen anything about a new TMNT movie.....
DAMN IT!!!
Thanks a lot!!!!
Now i am going to have to buy the TMNT movies on Bluray to watch them in HD, if they were released on Bluray!!!
As i already own them on dvd.
LOL!!!
EDIT:
Oh crap, they were!!!!!
Great!!!!
More bluray's to add to my ten's of thousands of dvd's!!!!!!!!

I have a certain rule that I try not to rebuy movies on bluray unless they are on my "ultimate" collection list.
It might surprise you to know I have not bought the Star Wars Blurays at all - prequels or originals. I DO have the bonus discs though. I bought those on Ebay. I had to have more background - can't get enough of it for Star Wars.
I do have Matrix on dvd and hd-dvd but I ended up buying Matrix Reloaded on Bluray as well as the hd-dvd of Reloaded has NEVER worked on my xbox 360 hddvd drive. I can't even access it when I hook it up to my computer so I can't rip and convert it to h264.
I am tempted to buy the first Transformers movie (michael bay yes i know but I already mentioned that earlier) on bluray as I have it on hd-dvd but it does work on my hddvd drive so I'm holding off for now - I actually don't own it on dvd. I have the other two on bluray though.
For new movies I tend to buy the blockbusters on bluray and the lesser ones on dvd. When I can I shoot for the bluray/dvd combo pack if it has one.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
No, i was saying DAMN IT to the fact that i did not know they released the original 3 TMNT movies on bluray and that i would now have to get them on Bluray!!!!
LOL!!
Ya lost me there......
The original DVD's i have of the TMNT movies are way older than 2008/2009!!!
Or am i missing something ?
But anyways, i have never heard anything about a new TMNT movie.....
Making a new TMNT with new people or new voices is like making the Crow 2!!!!!!!!
LOL!!! -
yoda i have a better option : let siembieda & long do the tmnt... the originals... by the way the original batman was cartoonie... anyone remember the smiling batman drawn by kane?

Okay, I see what you are talking about now.
I was talking about the "Original" TMNT movies from back in the 90's -

I was just confused because you were talking 08/09 and then saying yeah it was later, 2007...
And i was like, I am pretty sure i had TMNT on dvd WAAAAAAAY before 2007!!!
LOL!!!
The one thing that always stuck out to me was Corey Feldman as the voice for Donatello.
I'm going to have to check out the new CGI one you were talking about....
But now i still have to buy the original 3 on Bluray to watch them again even though i have the 3 original dvd's....
DOHH!!! -

Damn 25th anniversary in 2009??? Man I feel old.... Though the Transformers g1 dvd release set is a 25th anniversary edition too - the ones I bought not the first release rhino sets but the other ones that came out a few years ago.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Nope, you are correct!!
I did a search the other day and i saw the new box set that said it contained the 4 TMNT movies
And i was like, someone is high as they only ever did 3 TMNT movies!!!!!
Then I looked again and saw the new box set contained the 3 original movies and the new CGI movie.....
WTF!!!
Talk about re-releasing old stuff with new stuff just to confuse everyone!!!
Hey!!!
Lets release the 25th edited version of STAR WARS!!!!!!!!
LOL!!!! -

You're joking about Donatello right? Please say yesDonatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I'm too much of a geezer to get nostalgic / sentimental about TMNT, and I don't exactly hate Michael Bay. Now Roland Emmerich ...
I don't blame Hollywood for changing things like that for a younger and even more overstimulated generation. They may be able to get original fans to go to the theatres but they won't be buying all that merch ... though their kids might ...
Remember, the original Cars movie did the worst box office of any Pixar release, and all that merch they sold, which dwarfed the box office sales, was the only reason they did a sequel. -

I did see the Pirates band of misfits claymation movie though. Pretty good and fun too. I liked Wallace and Grommit and Chicken Run so it was a no-brainer to check it out.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
I think they are out of ideas and he probably figures, why not aliens? I don't know. I am just guessing.
