VirtualDub freezes during a capture

Hi,

I've been using VirtualDub for captures and it worked well but suddenly, it freezes during the capture - the frames captured number etc don't change.

Are there any suggestions how to diagnose the problem? Could it be connected with resolution/yuy2/codec?

Usually such problems with any software are cured by reinstalling it.
Beyond that we need more info to help you.

Some questions you should ask yourself.

What am I doing differently ?
Have I installed any other software (background programs) since I last did a successful capture ?

And it would be useful to know:

1. Your capture device. Has that changed ?
2. Your OS. Has that changed ?
3. No of HDDs
