    I'm trying to fix a WMV file that shows a resolution of 640 x 0 when it should be 640 x 360. All the repair tools I've tried--Windows Media Encoder, ASFBin, the new Expression Encoder, either won't load it or can't fix the actual problem. Is there any way I can open the file itself and simply find and replace the height setting with the correct value?

    maybe with a hex editor?

    but what is the actual problem, and how did it get that way?
