i keep getting an error while encoding a movie with TMPGenc. it says something along the lines of "error reading address 'some hex number'" but it's never the same hex number and it's never in the same spot during the encoding process. i know the avi is fine because i've watched the whole thing already. also a couple other times it was almost done encoding, about 80%, and it just stopped and froze. i know the movies are encoding fine, because i can view what it does get done, just it gets that error or freezes up before it finishes.. any suggestions?![]()

I get the same problem. I found that the error comes when another window goes on top of the TMPGE window. This problem came just suddently. TMPGE was working fine for a year. The problem come with any version of TMPGE.
Thanks to help  -
ya i thought it might have been that too, but i tried just leaving it all alone and it did it again
i think i'm gunna try redownloading TMPGenc because i noticed it says the error is in reading tmpgen.exe. hope this'll work...
