  1. I have a MKV file I've been trying to burn to BD. The only issue I have is that the output file does not have any subtitles. It's a foreign film with english subs.

Use mkvcleaver to extract the sub and add the external sub to multiavchd and remove the internal sub,if that doesn't work then something's wrong with the sub.

Hmmm..very strange. I open mkvcleaver..add mkv file..choose subtitle track but am unable to use extract tracks! option button. Here's the strange part..using handbrake has no problem processing subtitles. Can't figure out why handbrake can process the subtitles yet multiAVCHD cannot. The source MKV file was created using the program MakeMKV.

Have you got mkvtoolnix installed and mkvcleaver pointed to it?I have never had a problem with multiavchd with subs unless there was an error with them.

OK, maybe a dumb response but sometimes when I'm puzzling on errors I miss the blatant.

I'm guessing you probably don't have the original source files, but it'd be silly of me not to suggest that if you still have the source file(s) you used to make the MKV file in the first place why not use it/them as the source file in multiAVCHD instead of the MKV.

    Just a thought.

If you don't need menus and can manually enter your chapter information (or cut and paste it), tsmuxer may work with your input file without any problems to produce BD output.
