I think the title is not very self explanatory...
Well, an image can solve this:
I tried my best with Paint :P
Let's consider this image as a Video Editor's Timeline. There are two separated tracks, one for Video and another for Audio. But the Audio Track is from a DIFFERENT source, not the same of Video (embedded?).
With this, the Audio sometimes is faster than video scene, sometimes is slower, and sometime is perfect,
Is there a way to manually adjust Audio Speed by manipulating Delay, by adding or removing, increasing or decreasing, in order to match the sound being currently played with characters' mouth movement?
If so, with what software could I do this in a less complicated way? I'll not ask for an easy way because I know it's not an easy task.
P.S.: I can't install Adobe Premiere CS5 in my laptop because it doesn't fits the minimum requirements.

Convert the audio to PCM, and that should solve the problem.
Oh, I get it, you want to overdub? You might try Audacity, but it is not something easy to do, since change in speed introduces change in pitch. (Doppler Effect). -
Yep! This is what I want to do.
So I can't, that's it.
But how dubbing studios do this? What application they use?URGENT is everything someone INCOMPETENT did not ON TIME and want you KILL yourself to do in RECORD time. -
Alright, but where exactly should I "grab" to stretch/enlarge the track? Because when I tried, I was able to grab only at beggining/end fo audio track.
Should I split the audio to have more "grabbing points"?
I'm trying to do something that sounds simple and you propose me to do something advanced like that? C'mon :PURGENT is everything someone INCOMPETENT did not ON TIME and want you KILL yourself to do in RECORD time.
