    Have a digital cap that has sync issue.
    Opening in MPC as well as VLC shows same 250/milliseconds off

    What software can I adjust and save as same only with modified audio ?

  2. it depends on the type of video (what container, what compression etc...)

    use mediainfo view=>text

    you can shift the audio with most types of video (+/- delay by a certain value eg..250ms) in avidemux

    Here is a text file from Mediainfo

    I do plan on converting this to MKV with Handbrake, but thought maybe I should fix the sync issue first ... maybe I'm wrong ?

  4. Are your listed computer specs up to date? It might be a playback problem as well. A p4 might struggle playing a 1080 mpeg2 stream

    If it isn't playback issue, and sync is constant by same amount, I would fix before converting it

    You could do it with tsmuxer or avidemux

    I would try with tsmuxer first. Add the video, highlight audio track, enter delay value in ms, select output type (e.g. .ts), push start muxing

    Yeah. I have a new machine and have many other files like this that are fine.
    I'll try tsmuxer. Thanks for the help.

    EDIT:
    Well that was easy ! Worked great !

    THANKS!
