    i dont know if i have posted this in the right forum, i appologise if i have not.

    yesterday i accidentaly formated a dvd-rw disc that had programs that had not yet been watched on.
    is there any way to unformat the disc or recover the lost programs.

    ISOBuster or CDRoller may be able to recover the video if the disc has only been formatted and hasn't been reused for recording.

    Neither are free but they do say you can try before you buy.

    thanks for your help but it seems that the programs are unrecoverable. never mind, i have been able to find the lost progarams elsewhere and download them. thanks anyway
