I can't playback my SVCDs created with VCDEasy using any pc dvd-svcd player. I tried Windows media player (using a mpg2 codec), windvd, zoomplayer and any more.
But in my standalone dvd it is all rigth.
How can i solve it?
more information about the way i made the svcd:
rip with SmartRipper 2.41.
frameserve with DVD2AVI
encode to MPEG2 with tmpgenc
author and burn with VCDEasy
When I used nero I haven't had this problem. Unfortunately Nero doesn't allow chapter creation and this is a major drawback.

Use Ulead DVD Factory for all your menu and chapter needs. Works better.
By the way, remember that PC's emulate a real DVD Player. The programs that play SVCD's aren't perfect. Some movies burnt with certain program won't work on your PC sometimes, but will most likely work nicely on your standalone DVD Player. As for a good player, I would highly recommend Cyberlink PowerDVD 4.0 XP (works on all Windows OS's from 95 and up). Works like a dream when it comes to playin DVD, VCD and SVCD playing on the PC
. Also try using your burner to read your SVCD rather than your DVD-ROM drive. CDRW's read burnt CDR's better.

the answer is this: use powerdvd and all your problems are solved.
But i have an question for you, can you pause the svcd or press forward without that the audio and video of the svcd are not synchronized ?
