i was about to start converting all my videos to XSVCDs with 23.9 FILM type to save space but i tried the disc on my APEX-660 and altough it works and looks great. there is a little jump in the film.
i know tv is 29.97 so was this obvious that i would have to use 30fps instead of 24fps? or did i do something wrong?
thanks in advance, bagheera.

Drag the video-only stream to "pulldown.exe" (should be available under "tools" section)
SVCD doesn't technically support FILM rate without pulldown flags (to make the 23.976fps play at 29.97fps)...
Just de-multiplex, add pulldown to the video, and then multiplex the pulldown video with the original audio (bbMPEG)...
