  1. I have a external blu-ray reader where I can rip blu-ray but I can't burn it onto a blank blu-ray. I am try to encode it to where I can watch it but I use vlc Media Player. If I encode to mkv or m2ts it will display the audio fine but i have to move the slider to see the video and the video is only good for a second or less then the picture gets pixelated.

Any advise on how I can view the video better?

    Try MPCHC and SMplayer.

And if you want full blu-ray support use TMT.

I just rip everything to mp4 and import into iTunes. It's great for organizing everything and easy to attach the cover art. My pc has HDMI and it's connected to the TV. I never burn anything to disk. The quality I've been getting since I got Aiseesoft has been amazing.

if u absolutely need menus then use TMT...if not, skip it and use PotPlayer or MPCHC...they're both free and work perfect

  6. I find SPlayer portable works well for me. Last time I tried the installed version there was an issue if you assign it as default for file types. But I use portable with no file type assignments and I like it quite a bit. I put a shortcut in SendTo menu to play files via right click.

One down side is it still doesn't support PGS subs. Nothing's perfect.
